Biography
Raised in South London by a single mother, Layla Kayleigh did not begin life in the best of circumstances, enduring a variety of hardships in her youth that reputedly included living on her own as young as age 12 while her mother was in America trying to land them citizenship. At age 15, she chose to leave home permanently, a gamble that paid off -- Kayleigh's phenomenal beauty and evident charm landed her a job hosting MTV2 in Britain.

Contrary to what's written on some web sites, Layla Kayleigh did not first arrive in the US at age 12; rather, when she turned 18 she packed up from London and headed for Los Angeles, in search of bigger and better opportunities. Her very first gig was a substantial step down from hosting MTV2, but it proves that Kayleigh understands what it takes to make it in show business: She served as an extra on a single episode of Friends.

Things improved quickly for Layla Kayleigh, as she next landed a plum spot as a correspondent on Al Gore's Current TV network -- a gig that ended when she chose to pose for Maxim magazine. No matter, Kayleigh was back on her feet in no time, scoring a gig hosting "The Feed" segment on G4's Attack of the Show in 2006 and endearing herself to the show's loyal fan base. She would stay on the show for the next three years until announcing in the spring of 2009 that she would be leaving the show.

By 2007, Layla Kayleigh's profile was soaring. She was balancing work as an on-air correspondent for FOX Sport's The Best Damn Sports Show Period as well as The Vegas Insider when she was sent to play in a charity poker tournament sponsored by Stuff magazine. A poker novice, Kayleigh managed to play her way to the head table, infuriating some of the better players but mostly earning respect from the poker powers-that-be, to the extent that Robyn Moder, Executive Vice President of the World Poker Tour studios announced they had signed Kayleigh to host Season VI of the World Poker Tour.
In making the announcement, Moder cited her "impressive TV background" and noted that she was "energetic, intelligent and strikingly beautiful," making her the ideal host for the show.
