Biography
Cassandra Ventura was born in New London, Connecticut, in 1986. The daughter of an African American mother and a Filipino father, Cassie attended the preparatory Williams School, located on the Connecticut College campus in her hometown. She began modeling when she was 14, and by the time she was 16, Cassie was modeling for local department stores, Delia’s fashion catalog, and Seventeen magazine.
Cassie Ventura has had success as a model in becoming the face of such retailers as Abercrombie & Fitch and Target. Unfortunately, her best-known "modeling work" had a little something to do with topless photos of her that leaked online in May of 2009, finding their way to the likes of a gossip guru known as Perez Hilton. A protegee of Diddy, the singer made her debut in 2006 with her self-titled album. The first single off her follow-up album Eltro Love, entitled "Must Be Love," dropped in April of 2009. Cassie, we love you enough not to Google "Cassie" and "nude pics" on our lunch breaks. Promise.
